Here’s one of our favorite side dishes to bless your Thanksgiving table:--
? Sweet Potato Casserole with Toasted Pecans
Ingredients:
4 cups mashed sweet potatoes (about 4–5 large potatoes)
½ cup sugar
2 large eggs
½ cup milk
½ cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon
Topping:
½ cup brown sugar
? cup flour
3 tbsp butter, softened
1 cup chopped pecans---
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Mix sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, milk, melted butter, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
3. Pour into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
4. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, butter, and pecans — sprinkle over sweet potatoes.
5. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the top is golden brown and delicious!
